Dennis said he’s known for several years that the property was headed for easement, but couldn't say anything.
He said he know s of a number of properties that have been approved, but the owners are waiting to figure out how to achieve a tax benefit.
“Until it shows up on the land records at the county courthouse, it hasn’t happened,” Dennis said. “Until the easement exists, you can’t say anything.”
