Tea time
A traditional tea will be held at historic Middleton Inn Oct. 16-17 from 25 p.m. as part of the 48th Annual Dried Flower Sale and House Tour of the Episcopal Church Women of Trinity Church. The award-winning inn is owned by journalist Mary Ann Kuhn. Three houses—‘September Song,’ home of Ted and Renate Chapman, ‘Metairie,’ home of Col. John Bourgeois (Ret.), and “Fern Springs Farm,’ home of Emerson and Helen Williams—are on tour from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, and from 1-5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15 for the tour and tea. Dried flower arrangements, made of materials planted, harvested and dried by community members, are on display for sale at the Trinity Church hall in Washington.
