We are pleased to welcome Wahid M. Baqaie. MD, to the practice of orthopaedic and spine surgery in our region. Dr. Baqaie will join Drs. Benjamin Allen, Robert Rutkowski. and Craig Reigel of Virginia Orthopaedic Center in Culpeper, with office hours Monday through Thursday, 8 a m. to 7 p.m. and Friday 8a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dr. Baqaie received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed a surgical residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington DC, and a spine surgery fellowship at the University of Virginia.

Orthopaedic surgery treats chronic and acute diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system and includes foot and hand surgery, joint and hip replacement surgery, sports medicine and fracture repair. Dr. Baqaie specializes in spine surgery. He treats all spinal disorders of the neck and lower back including disc surgeiy, minimally invasive spine surgery, as well as spine fusion.
