Kratz will
serve ten
years

Kenneth O. Kratz, 39, of Chester Gap, was sentenced in Rappahannock Circuit Court on Monday, the 11th of July to fortythree years in prison, with all but ten suspended.
Kratz was given fifteen years for manufacturing marijuana, and twenty years for distribution of heroin. For possession of heroin, three more years were tacked on, to be served concurrently. For the possession of both a firearm and narcotics, the mandatory sentence of five years was imposed. Lastly, for failure to appear in court, Kratz was sentenced to three years. After serving ten years, he will be placed on supervised probation for another five years.
