The auction and cocktail hour will be followed by a gourmet dinner featuring the very best of Rappahannock cuisine. In what has become a tradition, many county businesses, including local wineries, B & Bs, markets, restaurants, farms, and many individuals join together to create a gastronomical extravaganza. Additionally, every year the artwork for “Taste of Rappahannock” has been donated by Susie MacNelly in honor of her late husband— three time Pulitzer Prize-winning political cartoonist, Jeff MacNelly.

Paige Coombs, executive director of Headwaters, noted that they are deeply indebted to the underwriters and sponsors for their support of this annual event.
‘Their participation ensures the success of the evening, a success that directly benefits the children of this county through Headwaters’ many programs,” said Coombs.
The four underwriters for the "Taste of Rappahannock” include Griffin Tavern, Armfield, Miller & Ripley, Inc. Realtors, Over Jordan Farms, and Worth Associates.
