Mrs. Groves was a direct descendant of several Minutemen and a member of the Culpeper Minuteman Chapter of the DAR.
She retired from the U.S. Government where she worked as a supply support specialist for the U.S. Army and was a member of the Remington Baptist Church.
Mrs. Groves is survived by her husband of 52 years, O: William Groves and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers; Eunice Sisk, Rachel Frazier, Susan Brown, Gibson
