Funeral1 servictes were held on Wednesday, July 13 at Moser Funeral Home Chapel ‘ with Rev. John K Burke officiating. Interment followed in Remington Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Russell Groves, Paul Groves, Jerry Utz, Victor Kane, Thomas Hoff, and Stuart Leavell.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Remington Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 159, Remington, VA 22734.

Kathryn D. Amos

Flint Hill resident

Kathryn Davis Amos died aboard the Aleutian Falcon outside Dielingham, Alaska on July 5.

She was bom January 27, 1968 in Jacksonville Beach, Fla., daughter of Captain and Mrs. Robert Amos of Flint Hill.

Ms. Amos was an elementary teacher and also worked in the commercial fishing fleet.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her sister, Susan B. Amos of Fairfield, Ca., nieces, aunts and uncles and numerous cousins.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church on July 14 at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to either Trinty Episcopal Church or Washington Baptist Church.
