The summer polo season is upon us and more than 150 players — ranging from rank beginners to seasoned veterans and international professionals — now participate in the sport throughout Loudoun, Fauquier and Rappahannock counties. “We’re seeing a marked resurgence,” current Great Meadow Polo Club President Phil Karber observed. “There are a lot of clubs, farm teams and leagues. There are several fields and a number of really good stadiums. There is a lot of interest on the part of the public and we are feeding into that and responding to it.”
