We were entering the fifth week of the visit. Slight panic *had set in. We were wondering what we could do that would come close to matching the fun of the Belle Meade swim and day camps for the last three weeks. After reading about the Arts & Crafts camp in the Rappahannock News last week, we enrolled the boys. They have just completed the week long camp at Rappahannock Park, with Janet Kerig, an expert in children’s folk art.
“What are we going to make today, Janet?” Our grandsons Joe and Skyler are always excited to know what the new day holds for them! Their treasure chest of experiences include basket-making, watercolor painting, beadwork, box making, candle making, tee shirt tie dye, nature walks, drum circles and percussion jams!
