Although the process is still young, the Copper Fox crew works steadily, keeping the distillery building in motion producing batch after batch of fine whiskey. The fruit wood aging process gives it a strong, smooth flavor that lingers on the palate long after the last sip. Like any whiskey enthusiast, Wasmund has a full stock of favorites including some of the single malts from his Scotland trip. Although Wasmund will occasionally humbly compare his product alongside the greats, he sips the fruits of his labor proudly.

“It’s like no other whiskey in the world,” Wasmund said seriously smoking his cigar and mulling the flavor against his palate.

“We are on the edge of making a splash on the market.”
