As a farmer, Monira Rifaat has won a number of awards for innovative environmental and farming practices. And with her background as an M.D. and pathologist, she is in a unique position to provide guidance to the community on development and environmental issues. She is very knowledgeable on health hazards and has been especially concerned about sludge and other toxic practices as well as protecting the quality of our water resources and environment.
Tb meet the challenges of the future, we need leadership, energy, experience and dedication on the Board of Supervisors. A vote for Monira Rifaat is a vote for an experienced, effective community leader with proven track record of being fully engaged in our community. We are voting for her, and we hope our Piedmont neighbors give her their support and vote as well.
