Education Week
Community members of all ages win enjoy African drumming, Turkish music and dancing, Scottish bagpipes, Celtic dancers, Spanish song, and displays of their home countries by visiting foreign exchange students. Presented by a committee of representatives from our three area high schools, Rappahannock High, Wakefield Country Day School and Hearthstone School, and chaired by Barbara Adotfi and Carol Lucking, this event will kick off International Education Week, a national event at schools around the country. During intermission Apple Hill Bakery will sell Turkish treats. Tickets will be $5 for adults and $1.00 for students. Come out to celebrate community and diversity on Sunday, November 12 from 2-4 p.m. at the Rappahannock County High School auditorium. For reservations call (540) 987-7204, mail box #4.
