Silas Edward (Ed) Grigsby, Jr., 62, of Flint Hill died October 17, at Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton.
Mr. Grigsby was bom to the late Silas Edward Grigsby, Sr., and Mary Elizabeth Wharton Grigsby March 6, 1944 in Rappahannock County.
Mr. Grigsby worked for J.D. Stokley as a heavy equipment operator until his illness; he was devoted to his family, eiyoyed gardening and the outdoors.
Mr. Grigsby is survived by his wife, Alice Compton Grigsby of Flint Hill, sons John (Johnny) Thomas Grigsby and his wife Jeannie and Paul Lee Grigsby and his wife, June, all of Chester Gap, daughter-in-law, Judy Grigsby of Charles Tbwn, West Virginia; grandsons, Ibmmy Grigsby, Mike Grigsby, Jamie Giigsby and Paul L. Grigsby, Jr
Additional survivors include a brother, Robert Lee Grigsby of Front Royal, and a sister, Dorothy Laverick of Darien Center, NY.
He was preceded in death by a son Michael Grigsby and a brother Roy Melton Grigsby.
