Keep George Allen

We have had a lot ol “throw the rascals out”

political philosophy "ampant in our fair country for quite a while, but t seems not to accomplish much, because incumbency is so powerful. It could lead one to favor term limitsBut

I fear that this time <ve might throw our a lot of rascals, and even some people guilty by association. The reason that I fear it is that I think in many cases the alternative wouid. be worse than what we have been living with. If Republican leadership has not been leading very well, the electorate might depose the Republicans. The replacement people would likely be “cut and run” folfcs, and politicians would believe that the populate is not being taxed enough. What good the current reginu has done might be severely depleted.

Here at home, if the people are peeved because our own junior senator was too good at putting his foot in his mouth, and not good enough at removing it, we might vote him out, and that would be bad nf Virginia and for the U.S. I do hope it does not hap-' pen.

Please get out and vote, and vote for George Allen.
