School Homecoming and
Tour—it’s Soup Day!
Start your Art Tour early this year! Head on down to this year's Scrabble School Open House Tour, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, and get a signed Tom Tepper Scrabble School print with your $50 donation. We ll have good food - it’s Soup Day! - and live music. From 11 to noon, architects Craig Barton and Chris Fannin will discuss plans for renovation of the building, which will be the Rappahannock County Senior Center, and landscaping. Castleton artist Tom Tepper will be on hand to sign the special print he created to honor Scrabble School (copies of the print are free to all alumni). Ki Theatre presents its 10th annual evening of life stories on October 28 at 8 p. m. Tales told by our Rappahannock friends and neighbors and transformed for the stage. Not Putnam relates the saga of his great commodore grandfather; Saundra Richardson narrates the tale of Awetash, a brave Eritrean/Ethiopian woman; and Cliff Miller touches our hearts with two stories about three of his farm horses.
