Author Sharon Miner of Aidie knows from doing: Her years in the show arena have given her a real feel for the touching stories that abound in the horse world.
Her new book. “Beloved Sport Horses” plays to that theme, telling the tales of 29 talented sport horses around the nation.
The new book is one in a series Miner has created over the past few years. “Sport Horses” joins “Beloved School Horses” and “Beloved Horses from Around the Country” both collections of heart-warming relationships between horses and the owners that love them.
“The Beloved Horses series are collections of true stories,” Miner said. “The first book, ‘Beloved School Horses,’ described the horses from my Unicom Stable (1975-2000) and the impact they had on the lives of my riding students. As I traveled and marketed the book at horse events and saddle shops, people would tell me they had a great horse story
