Last weekend we made our annual January pilgrimage to the Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg. It is billed as the largest indoor agricultural exposition in the U.S. I don’t know if that’s true but our feet can testify to it being plenty large!
There is an enormous building full of nothing but machinery and Mike can happily spend a couple of hours there. There is bam after bam after bam of animals, which we both love. And, we spend an extra long time with all the goats.
But one of my favorite parts of the show are the local food producers who are there selling their wares. Granted, this being January, we’re not getting fresh vegetables! But somehow we find plenty to buy and always come home loaded up with treats.
