Housing Counselor

Housing Counselor Family Services Responsible for federal, state and local policies/procedures for Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) rental assistance program. Duties include: determine eligibility for assistance for individuals with various disabilities; provide housing counseling; resolve tenant/landlord disputes; conduct Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspections. Bachelor's Degree in social work or related field & 2 yrs related experience. Prefer exp. working with individuals with physical ormental disabilities; have experience in conducting Housing Quality Standard (HQS) home inspections; have experience working in housing assistance programs; possess Housing Counseling Certification; ability to speak, read and write Spanish.
