Ceremony
The Shiloh Baptist Church in Woodville will honor Laurie Davis in an appreciation ceremony immediately following the 11 a.m. service on Sunday, July 17, 1977.
Ms. Davis began playing at the Shiloh Baptist Church in August, 1915, the age of 13. She moved to Washington, D. C., 33 years ago, but still returns to play for the choir on the 3rd Sunday of each month.
The public is invited.
