The Rappahannock Lions Club finished out the Lions year in June as the recipient of several prestigious awards, both regional and statewide. The Rappahannock Club won the state Achievement Award for activities conducted during the past year and the Outstanding Club Award in competition with 15 other clubs in Region Four. Two club officers were recognized for conspicuous achievement—Bill Racer with the President’s Award and Kermit Weakley with the Outstanding Secretary
