The club hosted two teenage boys from Finland during the past year and plans to host a German youth this summer. The Rappahannock Lions are sponsoring a trip to Europe for local high school graduate Connie del Grosso under the International Lions Youth Exchange program. Th.e club also sponsored the first Bland music contest held in Rappahannock and the winner, high school senior Donna Cannon, went on to capture the Zone finals.
New officers installed for the coming year are; President Phil Butten, First Vice-President Howard Holschuh, Second VicePresident Barclay Pendleton, Third Vice-President lohn Schultz, Secretary-Treasurer Bob Ingle, Lion Tamer Clyde Johnson and Tail Twister Fanning Baumgardner. Named to the Board of Directors are Bill Racer, Weiland Johnson, Bob Anderson, Paul Nichols and Clyde Johnson.
