Area fanners are reminded .to report to the Rappahannock ASCS Office the acreage planted to corn, wheat, barley and grain sorghum.
A farm program is now under consideration that may establish a set-aside program, and if so eligibility may be based on the 1977 reported acreage. Farmers who fail to report 1977 crop wheat, com, grain sorghum and barley planted acreage will be considered to have zero planted acreage and may be ineligible for* program benefits.
All beef producers who registered to vote in the 1977 Beef Research and Information Order Referendum are reminded to vote by July 15, 1977. Ballots have been mailed to those producers who requested them. In order to be counted, ballots must be completed and returned to the Rappahannock County
