Vespers Program
The choir of the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church of Washington, D. C., will present a special music program at Sunset Vespers this Sunday, July 17, at 8:30 p.m., at the Luray Singing Tower.
Carillonneur Charles T. Chapman will present a carillon recital at 8:00 p.m., followed by the all-music program. Program leader will be Don C. Kerr, Luray United Methodist Church Lay Leader.
The New York Avenue Presbyterian Church choir is a favorite of those who have been attending Sunset Vespers. Director Stephen H. Prussing has brought the choir to Luray for years, and has presented many unusual and interesting programs.
In the event of rain, services will be held at the Luray United Methodist Church after the carillon recital.
