In other action, the Supervisors acted on a suggestion by H. B. Wood and reaffirmed a resolution , passed last year that limited School Board membership to one representative from each of the county’s five magisterial districts. The previous resolution was not recorded in the Board’s official minutes and in view of the “controversy” over recent action to drop the atlarge seat held by E. N. Montague upon .his retirement, Wood asked that the resolution be passed again.
The Supervisors also authorized Commonwealth’s Attorney Davis to engage attorney Sharon Genebach to assist in upcoming litigation against the Board of Supervisors and Board of Zoning Appeals and in revision of the zoning ordinance, subdivision ordinance and comprehensive plan. Miss Genebach will be paid $25 an hour from the county’s general fund.
