On October 4, Mrs. Nellie Jenkins was taken from her home in Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial Hospital by the Sperryville Rescue Squad. Otis Ryder was transported to Warren Memorial Hospital from his home in Flint Hill on October 5 by the Flint Hill Rescue Squad. On October 7, the Sperryville unit took Peter Wagoner from his home in Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
On October 8, Mrs. Florence Hackley was taken from Battle Run Baptist Church on Rt. 729 to Fauquier Hospital by the Flint Hill Rescue Squad. Carroll Jenkins was transported to Culpeper Memorial Hospital from an auto accident on Rt. 707 by the Sperryville Rescue Squad.

The 1967 Rappahannock High School class held a reunion and all-day family picnic at Graves Mountain Lodge in Syria on September 17.
