Explorers, in addition to their own unit programs, have the opportunity to participate in many local council, regional, and national activities. Local council Explorer highlights during the coming year include a co-ed weekend at Camp Rock Enon, a semiformal dance, and ski trips.
National highlights in 1978 will include the National > Explorer Presidents’ Congress in Washington, D. C., April 12-16, and the Explorer Olympics, July 30August 5, at Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colo. Explorers also can plan trips to Scouting USA’s six high adventure bases.
