Bazaar
The ladies of the Washington Baptist Church will revive a custom of some years ago and, this year again, have a harvest bazaar. The bazaar will be held in the church yard on Oct. 15, 10:30 a.m. At the same time the church will be open to visitors.
A wide variety of items will be offered for sale, including jellies, pickles and baked goods for the pantry shelf; plants and old English box, pine cones and bundles of kindling as well as bird seed for the cold days of winter. They will also have a table of small antiques and other collectibles such as corn shuck dolls. When you attend this unique bazaar you will find things you have always wanted but didn’t know it.
