Jenkins

Jesse Lee Jenkins, Sr., of Front Royal died August 15, 1978, at the Veterans Administration Center, Martinsburg, W. Va. He was 80.

Born August 14, 1898, in Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late J. William and Souvilla Petty Jenkins. He was an Army veteran of World War 1. His wife, Laurie A. Jenkins, predeceased him.

Survivors include one son, Jesse Lee Jenkins, Jr., of Manassas; two daughters. Mrs. Mary Lee Marrow of Front Royal and Mrs. Juanita Maloney of Stephens City; two sisters, Mrs. Golden J. Luber of Front Royal and Mrs. Elizabeth Hutt of Sperryville; and eight grandchildren.

Services were held Saturday afternoon at the Marlow Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. James Harmon officiating. Interment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
