Mrs. H. B. Wood attended the Virginia Home Economics Teachers Con* vention at Hotel Roanoke-last week. Afterwards, Mrs. Wood and son, Henry B., were guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Blanton and Miss Mary Neil Blanton in Amelia.

W. L. Terrell of Dillwyn called on Mrs. H. B. Winfrey and Mrs. Dillard Glenn Monday.

Lynn Groves of Richmond was a guest for several days of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Manwaring, Gina and Lisa.

Guests from the Woodvilie area attending a stork shower for Mrs. Ted Manwaring at the home of Mrs. Andy Jones in Rixeyville were Mr. Manwaring, Ginny and Mike, Mrs. K. P.
