Flckett Chances Slim Rep. J. Kenneth Robinson of the Seventh District is challenged by Del. Lewis P. Fickett of Fredericksburg. Fickett is in his second term as a member of the House and is regarded as a moderate liberal. He is a professor at Mary Washington College and is conducting an aggressive campaign. In the rural and strongly conservative Seventh, however, his chances of success are considered slim.
Ninth District Rep. William C. Wampler is being opposed by C. Champ Oark of Chilhowie. Clark, a businessman and farmer, has long been active in area Democratic politics. Although a colorful and wellknown campaigner, local observers give him little chance of unhorsing Wampler.
