In response to a request for information from Rappahannock Council president Truman J. Keesey, Bernard L. Henderson, assistant to the Commissioners of the State Corporation Commission, offered to attend a meeting in the county to explain how the SCC regulates utilities.

“I applaud the interest of your organization in learning about utilities and wish that more citizens would approach our present problem of soaring utility rates with a desire to learn," stated Henderson.

The Council voted to invite Henderson to attend a community-wide meeting that will be scheduled for early fall.
