Mr*. Mary H. Lea has returned to her home after spending a week in Lynchburg and while there attending the marriage of her ni®ce# Sarah Thompson* Weekend guests of Mrs. L. J. Turner were Mr. and Mrs. James Pharr of Newport News and Mrs. R. H. Powell of Franklin. Joined by Miss Mary Miller Wood they were guests for dinner of Mrs. W. C. Campbell at The Inn of Little Washington Saturday. Mrv Campbell returned to helhume in Newport News Tuesday after visiting C. J. Miller Jr. here and Mrs. C. H. White at Linden.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Canova, Andrea and Edward of Roanoke were the Sunday overnight and Monday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Fairfax.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond C. Pech of Bloomfield, Conn, were overnight guests Sunday of the Rev. and Mrs. Jennings Hobson. Sunday evening they dined at The Inn at Little Washington.
Mr. and Mrs. Nick Penaranda of Fairfax spent Saturday night with her father, Stant Weaver. On Sunday, they attended the Weaver family reunion held at the VFW hall in Culpeper.
Mrs. Lester Smith of Deltona, Fla. was the Tuesday guest of Mrs. W. M. Fletcher.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Jenkins and T. J. of Culpeper called on Mrs. Jenkins parents, Mr. and Mrs. Luther Payne, Sunday. Kim Jenkins, who has been the guest of the Paynes and Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Clater and Pamela for a few weeks, accompanied her family home. Mrs. Guy Burke spent Wednesday with he son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Trenton Burke in Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Lee of Oxon Hill, Md. called on Mr. and Mrs. Ashby Wayland Monday morning. Mrs. Gilbert Updike was a guest at the Noakes family reunion held Sunday at Bing Crosby Stadium in Front Royal.
