That was the opinion from District Traffic Engineer Jon C. DuFresne in a letter written to Col. E. P. Luke, Chairman of the Rappahannock Supervisors. Luke reported on his correspondence with DuFresne at the November 2 Board meeting, explaining that he'd contacted Highway Department personnel following an accident at the intersection on October 13 that left one fatality.
