Kappahannock Boy Scouts were blessed with perfect Indian Summer Weather at their annual Shenrapawa district Boy Scout Fall Camporee held this past weekend, October 27, 28 and 29, at the Baggerly farm near Front Royal.

Troop 123 from Washington led by Buddy Bywaters, “Yogi” Bear and James Shaw, Troop 50 from Amissville led by Boozie Dodson, Troop 36 from Flint Hill led by Paul Nichols, Troop 65 from Sperrvyille led by Nels Aylor and Troop 143 from Castleton led by Gene Fisher took part in the camporee.

The Cobra Patrol from Troop 123 sponsored by Trinity Episcopal Church was the first place winner in the stew and hot-bread cooking competition. The Flaming Arrow Patrol from Troop 36
