The SCA homeroom representatives have been chosen at R.C.H.S. The representatives are as follows; Kim Gilkey-Mr. Bomberger, Sandy Hudson-Miss Spieker, Natalie Swindler-Miss Jordan, Rhonda Brown-Miss Goff, Aletha Atkins-Mr. Moffet, Connie Whorton-Mr. Patterson, Ann Thomas-Mrs. Wood, Rhonda Foster-Mr. Lesver, Lou Ellen ThornhillMr. Wood. SCA meetings will be held on the first Thursday of every month.
The Sophomore class has elected their officers. They are president Sharon Settle, vice-president Liz Freeman, treasurer Paula Butler and Lisa Jones was elected secretary. Dee-Dee Grant is the class photographer.
The panthers traveled to William Monroe on Tuesday night. Rappahannock trampled the Dragons with a score of 49-21. Jackie Myers and Rhonda Estes had ten points each. Rhonda Brown and Denise Wingfield tied with six points. Judy Lynn put in five for the Panthers. Sandy Hudson and Linda Finley had four points. Shelly Kidwell had two points and Rhonda Williams and Janice Aylor had one point.
The girls played an unyeilding game with 25 steals and 8 turnovers. Good game girls!
Junior Varsity played a mean game too, and they ended up with a score of 26lb. Sandy Wines was the high scorer with 11 points. Good game J.V.
Last Thursday the girls basketball team played Strasburg at Strasburg. Neither team won, but both were very close, and we know how much effort you put forth. We would like to say thanks to all the support we had at this game, and all the others.
Well girls basketball season is over. The girls had a good season, the Junior Varsity team ended up with eight wins, and ten loses, they ended up in fifth place out of
