Real and personal property in Harris Hollow belonging to the Rappahannock Ski Corporation will not be offered at public auction on November 30. Corporation President James A. Moore, holder of the first deed of trust on the property, withdrew the land— approximately 300 acres— and equipment from sale.
Douglas Baumgardner, attorney for the Ski Corporation. confirmed that Moore had decided not to sell at public auction. "The Ski Area management is very optimistic about opening next spring," said Baumgardner.
