Thanksgiving
The First Baptist Church of Washington will have its annual Thanksgiving service again this year beginning at 7:30 p.m. each evening. The Rev. Jennings Hobson, ^ members and congregation will hold the service Monday night, Nov. 20.
The Rev. David Moore, members and congregation will be the guest speaker on Tuesday night, Nov. 21. On Wednesday, November 22, at 6 p.m. there will be a community covered dish supper.
The climax service will be on Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. conducted by the Rev. John R. Pendleton and his members and congregation.
We are asking each member of each church to bring a covered dish for the special service.
Thanksgiving service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday conducted by the Rev. Wendell R. Grant. Everyone is welcome to attend.
