A funeral for Carolyn Kay Bawkey of Culpeper was held Sunday at the Geest Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper, conducted by the Rev. W. W. Martin and the Rev. Charles Ginedinst. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.
Miss Bawkey, 17, an eleventh grade student at Culpeper High School, died Friday, Nov. 3, 1978 at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, after a brief illness. A native of Albemarle County, she was the daughter of John R. Bawkey of Rixeyville and Ruby Mae
