“yes” votes for the referendum on mixed alcoholic beverage sales and 708 “no" votes. Approximately 54 per cent of county voters approved allowing restaurants that meet ABC Board regulations to serve mixed drinks.
The Constitutional amendment to give localities the option of taxing renovated property at a lower rate passed in Rappahannock as it did throughout most of the state. Locally, there were 936 votes for adoption of the amendment and 527 against.
