November 13 through 17 is National Education Week. In recognition, the Rappahannock County Education Association (RCEA) has planned a series of special events.
Monday has been designated as "teachers' aide day” at which time the elementary school aides will be recognized for their contribution to the county’s educational system. On Tuesday, bus drivers, custodians and cooks will be treated to coffee and cookies at a mini-party between 8:15 and 8:30. School Board members, central office administration and secretaries have been invited to join the teachers for lunch

Parents of Brownies in troops 955 and 925 are invited to the investiture ceremony at the elementary school Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m.
At the ceremony new Brownies are officially taken into the troops. Because of this special evening meeting, there will be no afternoon Brownie meeting that day.
