Navy Aviation Ordnanceman Airman William R. Deal, son of Lester W. and Hazel J. Deal of Sperryville, Va., recently * visited Perth, Australia, and Singapore.
He is assigned to Attack Squadron 27, embarked at the Naval Air Station, LeMoore, Calif., and currently embarked aboard the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise which is operating as a unit of the U. S. Seventh Fleet.
The squadron’s port visits were part of the Seventh Fleet’s mission of presenting goodwill in the Western Pacific and Indian Ocean areas. His squadron's remaining schedule calls for participation in training exercises with other Seventh Fleet units and those of allied nations. Additional port visits are scheduled in several other Far Eastern countries.
