Mr. and Mrs. Frank Swift and grandchildren, Sheri and Steven Light, all of Hopewell spent from Thursday until Saturday with Mrs. Swift's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Judd Burke. Sunday callers of the Burkes were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Montgomery of Front Royal.

Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Atkins were Mrs. Harry Berry, Lauria and Anna of Harrisonburg and Sunday guests were Mrs. Lester Clatterbuck and Greg of Front Royal.

Mrs. W. A. Moore accompanied by Mrs. Charlotte Ward and Noel and Miss Carol Campbell, all of Riverton spent a few days last week at Ocean City, Md.

Sunday visitors of Mrs. Mary Blaisdell were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Krause and Kim of Front Royal.

Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Spence and Sarah of Harrisonburg spent the weekend with Mrs. Spence’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Lee. Sunday guests were Miss Betty Lee and Dennis Grove, both of Front Royal.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert B. Payne of Washington announce the birth of a son, Albert Bryant, on July 6, 1979 in Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

Grandparents of the infant are Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Payne of Sperryville and Mrs. Eva Jenkins of Washington. Great-grandparents are Mrs. Sadie Durham of Ruckersville, Elmer Pullen of Washington and Aubrey Jenkins of Sperryville.
