Miss Terry Kilby received a Master’s Degree from the University of Oregon in Special Education. She achieved an academic average of 3.94 out of a possible 4.00. Her training consisted of academic skills for the midly handicapped, course work for the severely handicapped, and training of regular teachers to meet special student needs.
Miss Kilby is a 1969 graduate of the Rappahannock County High School, and a 1973 graduate of the University of Tennessee. She worked for four years in Vanderbilt and Knoxville, Tenn. as a special education and resource teacher. She is the daughter of Mrs. Helen Kilby of Sperryville and the late L. J. Kilby.
