After Mcrariand tailed to stop at the scene of the accident. Mrs. Moss went to Rappahannock jail in her vehicle and reported the wreck. Trooper C. A. Moore and Sheriff W. A. Buntin assisted with the investigation.
Harold Brown Estes, formerly of Washington, now residing in Lignum was cited Tuesday by Trooper J. B. Thomas for driving while intoxicated after a single vehicle crash on Route 211 west of Washington.
According to the officer. Estes was operating a 1974 Chevrolet pickup traveling west when he went off the right of the road, veered back across the road, struck the left bank and totalled the truck. Estes complained of head and chest injuries and was taken to Culpeper Memorial Hospital by Sperryville Rescue Squad.
