Jenkins
Services for Mrs. Bernice Kathleen Jenkins of Culpeper were held Wednesday at the Amissville Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Joseph Stirman conducted the service and was assisted by Frank Coppedge. , Mrs. Jenkins, 76, wife of James M. Jenkins, died Sunday, July 8, 1979 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. A native of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late Jim Woodward and the late Mary Virginia Frazier. She was a member of Amissville Baptist Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, James L. Jenkins of Washington D.C.; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Laura V. Corbin of Amissville.
Kuhn
Mrs. Viola Elizabeth DeMent Kuhn, 70, died at her home in College Park, Md. Friday, July 6, 1979 after a long illness. Mass of Christian burial was held Monday at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in College Park. Burial was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
She and her husband, Henry Kuhn, were summer residents of Rappahannock County for a number of years. She is survived by her husband; two daughters; two sons, one of whom is P. E. Steve deMent III of Sperryville; 22 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
