Edward McKinley Foster of Sperryville was charged with failing to yield the right of way in a two vehicle collision July 2 in Sperryville. According to Trooper R. A. Baines, Foster driving 'a 72 Ford station wagon pulled into the path of a 73 Chevrolet operated by Charles Henry Brown of, Keswick. There were no injuries and damage was minor to both vehicles, said Baines.

Edward Neff of Sperryville struck a deer on Route 622 near Route 211 on July 3. Damage was minor to the 76 Mercury he was driving.
