The Shenandoah Valley Folklore Society has scheduled a meeting for
Friday, July 20, ^at Wayside Inn, Middletown. Activities will begin at 7:00 p.m. with a social and treat buffet. Officers and Directors will meet at 6:00 p.m. A limited number of reservations is available.
Including in the evening’s program will be: a Folk Art Exhibit by Edward Ambrose; Old-Time Fiddle Tunes by Herb Smoke, Sammy Glynn, and Turner Bowen; a parody of Valley oral traditions and folk speech by Mel Horst as “Jakey Budderschnip”; and a Shenandoah Valley Farm Craft Days Festival Preview by Edwin W.
