RICHMOND—The National Association of, Extension Home Economists will hold its 45th annual session Monday through Friday, Oct. 8 to 12 with headquarters at the John Marshall Hotel. The meeting with the them^, Issues and Actions, will ‘draw about 1,500 members. The National Association of Extension Home Economists is an organization involved in strengthening and improving the professional standards of home economists who are part of Extension Service, which is located in the landgrant universities in all states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Guam.
It also works to provide a media fofthe.,exchange of ideas; to promotk fellowship; and provide an opportunity for the recognition of leadership and service.
The Virginia organization of over 150 Extension home economists who work at 112 Extension offices will join delegates from across the nation in sessions on topics to help them to help families.
Speakers include Jean L. Harris, secretary of human resources for Virginia, will speak on “Obligation of Rights and Responsibilities” at the session Friday, Oct. 12, at about 10 a.m.
