Clinic Set
The United States Border Collie Club’s sixth sheep dog handler’s training clinic will be held on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, October 6, 7 and 8, at Sunnybrook Farm, White Post in Clarke County. The clinic will start at 8:30 a.ni. and run until 5 p.m., with a break for lunch. The ability of dogs at the clinic will range from those who have never seen livestock to those who are working on farms or are ready to run in trials.
Lewis Pence of Sidney, Ohio, will be the instructor again this year. Instruction will start Saturday morning with basics for novice dogs and work up through the more experienced dogs.

Pvt. Robert D. Bowers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Bowers, Amissville, recently received a Parachutist Badge upon completion of the three week airborne course at the U.S. Army Infantry School, Fort Benning, Ga.
