Market Closes
For Season
The Rappahannock Farmers Market will close Saturday, Sept. 29 for the season since the supply of seasonal fresh produce has diminished. Plans will be made for reopening in the spring.
A time and place will be announced at a later date for the presentation of a quilt and a ham which will be given away. Merchants who had booths at the market expressed appreciation to all who patronized them.

The Flint Hill Ladies Auxiliary will meet Monday night, October 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the fire hall.
According to Mary Curtis, the group’s president, the meeting is very important and all members are asked to be present.
